Yes. You will be required to wear the prescribed academic dress for the Degree or Diploma in which you are graduating. This includes a gown, a mortar board, hood and/or stole in the appropriate colour. Please contact the university in regards to this.
You can apply for extra tickets through the university. Guest ticket can be purchased through our system. Check University website and your emails regularly because if you miss the date to apply for extra tickets, you will not receive any more than the standard allocation of tickets.
Please note that due to space restrictions additional tickets are not guaranteed.

The presentation ceremony can take about an hour but can go slightly longer depending on the length of the number of graduates.

Ceremonies differ depending on where/when they are held and if you are sitting on the stage or in the body of the hall. You will get a full overview of what happens in a graduation ceremony at your pre-ceremony briefing. It is very important that you attend your briefing.
You are required to check-in no later than 45 minutes before the commencement of the ceremony. You will be seated in your allocated seat in the hall for a pre-Ceremony briefing. Please ensure that you are wearing the appropriate academic attire. Further information regarding when to arrive and where to go on the day of your ceremony can be found on the Graduations website.
